Having seen serious questions asked of his future in the summer of 2024, McKennie appeared destined to leave Turin at one stage. He was, however, to work his way back into favour, allowing an option to be triggered that extended his deal through to 2026.

According to , plans are being pieced together for a completely new contract. Juve hope that McKennie can be talked into penning a deal until 2028. If an agreement can be reached, then the 26-year-old will see his value to the collective cause recognised.
